Metro Boat Show at Lake St. Clair Metropark
Start dreaming about next year’s boating season at the boat show, this time taking place at Lake St. Clair Metropark. Meet Daisy Kelliher from the show “Below Deck Sailing Yacht” or tour the Pride of Michigan, a 68-foot training ship. Motor City Comedy Festival at Detroit House of Comedy
Highlights of this year’s festival include headlining sets from Detroit native, comic and actor Mary Lynn Rajskub on Saturday night at the Detroit House of Comedy, 2301 Woodward in Detroit. “Gomela / To Return: Movement of Our Mother Tongue” at Ford Theatre at the Detroit School for the Arts
Directed by Stephanie McKee-Anderson and featuring poet Sunny Patterson and choreographer Kesha McKey, this production, presented by the Charles H. “Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks” at Michigan Science Center
An all-new LEGO exhibition features 20 skyscrapers made of LEGO bricks from all over the world in stunning detail. In addition to the exhibit, there will also be a hands-on construction area with more than 200,000 loose bricks. Exhibit opens Saturday and runs through early January. Duran Duran at Little Caesars Arena
Recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Duran Duran bring their “Future Past Tour” to LCA with opening groups Nile Rodgers & Chic and Bastille. 50 Cent at Pine Knob Music Theatre
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” rapper 50 Cent rolls through town with Busta Rhymes and Jeremih.
