Ahead of next week's NFL Draft, Eminem and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell are welcoming fans to the D, er, Detroit.

In a humorous spot posted to ESPN's social channels on Friday, Em and the commish lightly spar about the shortening of Detroit to just one letter.

Roger Goodell and Eminem in an ad for the 2024 NFL Draft.

"I'm Eminem, this is Roger Goodell, and we are so fired up this year for the NFL Draft," Eminem says in the 30-second ad, to which Goodell replies, "Live from the D!"

"You can just say Detroit," Em shoots back. "That's what I said," Goodell says, and the back and forth continues.

Eminem, a noted Lions fan, wears a black Lions hoodie in the spot, similar to the one he wore at the Lions' playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams, Jan. 14 at Ford Field.

Prior to that game, Eminem taped a spot for the NFL where he asked former Lions quarterback and current Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, "Can you just let us have this one? Just this one?" (The Lions didn't need the favor, and won the game 24-23, marking their first playoff victory in 30 years.)

The NFL Draft kicks off Thursday in Detroit.
