Saturday's state men: Oakland completes sweep of Youngstown State
Jalen Moore had 31 points and 12 assists as Oakland topped Youngstown State 81-74 on Saturday.
Micah Parrish had 13 points for Oakland (5-12, 5-5 Horizon League). Daniel Oladapo added 11 points and eight rebounds. Rashad Williams had 11 points.
Youngstown State scored 41 points in the first half, a season high for the team.
Myles Hunter had 18 points for the Penguins (6-7, 3-7). Garrett Covington added 16 points and seven rebounds. Shemar Rathan-Mayes had 15 points and seven assists.
The Golden Grizzlies improve to 2-0 against the Penguins this season. Oakland defeated Youngstown State 82-65 on Friday.

(At) Central Michigan 75, Eastern Michigan 64: Travon Broadway Jr. had a career-high 25 points with five steals. Meikkel Murray had 17 points and six rebounds for Central Michigan (6-7, 2-4 Mid-American Conference). Ralph Bissainthe added seven points, seven rebounds and three blocks.
Yeikson Montero had 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Eagles (4-5, 1-4). Miles Gibson added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Noah Morgan and Ty Grace scored 10 points each.
Bryce McBride, the Eagles leading scorer at 14 points per game, scored 5 on 1-of-12 shooting.
The Chippewas scored 27 points off 19 Eastern Michigan turnovers.
(At) Detroit Mercy 68, Green Bay 35: Antoine Davis had a season-high 30 points. Bul Kuol had 22 points for Detroit (3-7, 2-4 Horizon League) and Marquell Fraser added 10 points and nine rebounds.
Emmanuel Ansong had 16 points for the Phoenix (3-11, 3-7). Josh Jefferson scored 14 and Amari Davis 10.
Detroit beat Green Bay 86-61 on Friday.
