Michigan players celebrate last year's win with the Paul Bunyan Trophy.

The Michigan vs. Michigan State rivalry game on Saturday, Nov. 16 will start at noon and will be televised by Fox, it was announced Monday.

The game is at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

The Spartans (4-4, 2-3 Big Ten) are home against Illinois this Saturday (3:30 p.m., FS1) while the Wolverines (7-2, 4-2) are off.

Michigan played Michigan State in a night game in Ann Arbor two years ago, but that was not on the table for this season.

"Both ADs would have to agree (to play at night), and it's not even an option," Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel told The Detroit News prior to the start of the season.

Michigan, which leads the all-time series 70-36-5, won last year’s game in East Lansing, 21-7.
