Former Michigan State wide receiver Trishton Jackson announced via Twitter on Monday he is transferring to Syracuse.

Former MSU wide receiver Trishton Jackson announced via Twitter he is transferring to Syracuse.

The move comes only a few days after the sophomore from West Bloomfield said he was leaving after two years at MSU.

Jackson finished his sophomore season with 12 catches for 143 yards after starting the first four games of the season. He had only three catches during the final eight games as freshman Cody White emerged in the receiving corps.

Jackson had five catches for 89 yards and a touchdown as a freshman.
