Damon Harrison practices, Jarrad Davis returns for Lions

Allen Park — The newest member of the Detroit Lions debuted at practice Thursday afternoon.

Wearing No. 98, defensive tackle Damon Harrison was participating in the portion of practice open to the media, raising optimism he'll play this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks. 

New Lions defensive tackle Damon Harrison (98) practiced for the first time Thursday since being acquired from teh New York Giants.

Harrison was acquired in a trade from the New York Giants, in exchange for a fifth-round draft choice. The move was initially reported Wednesday and made official Thursday morning

In addition to Harrison, the Lions also got linebacker Jarrad Davis back on the practice field. He's dealing with a calf injury. 

For the second straight day, running Theo Riddick was dressed for practice, but was not participating in any drills. He's been out with a knee injury since the team returned from the bye last week.
