Allen Park — The Detroit Lions bolstered the team's depth along the interior of its defensive line, signing tackle Kyle Peko on Tuesday.

An eight-year veteran, Peko initially signed with the Denver Broncos out of Oregon State in 2016. He's spent time with five NFL franchises, including two stints in Denver and Tennessee, where he started a career-high 10 games last season.

The Lions signed defensive tackle Kyle Peko on Tuesday.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 305 pounds, Peko has played all across the defensive front, from nose tackle to a heavy end. In Tennessee, he played under position coach Terrell Williams, who the Lions hired this offseason.

Peko is cousins with Domata Peko, the former Michigan State standout who played 15 years in the NFL (2006-2020).
